Karbala university gets three stars in the QS ranking of World Universities

Karbala university received a total rating of three stars in the (QS) ranking of World Universities, ((Ratings University Stars QS for the year 2024.

The evaluation criteria included the University’s performance in various aspects, including the education standard, which deals with learning methods and reflects the quality of Education enjoyed by the University, and reflected positively on its outputs.

The evaluation also included the job criterion, which shows the percentage of employment of university graduates in the first years of their graduation, and the evaluation dealt with the scientific research criterion, which deals with the research output of the University in the international scientific fields.

The evaluation touched upon the universality criterion represented by the University attracting foreign students, as well as the standard of facilities and services provided by the University in general.

The evaluation also addressed the criteria of Social Responsibility and inclusiveness, and finally the criterion of specialization, which is concerned with specialized academic programs.

The importance of obtaining this International Classification lies in enhancing its international reputation, as well as it is one of the most important reasons for academic development and finding partnerships with well-established international institutions.

It is noteworthy that the QS rating is an annual rating of the best (800) universities around the world published by Quacquarelli Symonds company specialized in education.
