The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed a master’s thesis titled (Al-Ibadal and its impact on the narratives of the Prophet’s biography).The study in which the researcher used the analytical approach included three chapters. The first reviewed the substitution in the Meccan narrations before the mission, and the second dealt with the substitution in the Meccan narrations from revelation to the migration. The third chapter dealt with the substitution in the narrations of the civil stage. The study concluded with a number of results, the most prominent of which was that the term substitution is a new concept in the Islamic historical writings, and it also concluded that this term was introduced according to the method of modern scientific research by Prof. Dr. Iyad Abd Al-Hussein Al-Khafaji in 2020
