Within the framework of open and build bridges of cooperation with educational institutions, the University of Karbala signed a scientific cooperation mechanism with the University College of Hilla represented by its dean, Prof. Dr. Aqil Majeed Al-Saadi,
The mechanism aims to achieve fruitful cooperation between institutions of higher education and scientific research and to increase joint scientific cooperation between the two parties in the scientific fields.
The President of Karbala University, Professor Basem Khalil Al-Saidi, said that the signing of the cooperation mechanism came to the existence of a joint scientific space between public and private universities in the field of scientific research, exchange of experiences and ways to employ it in the community at the local and international levels.
He explained that the signing of the cooperation mechanism is a fruitful start in benefiting from experiences and cross-fertilization of ideas in a way that promotes development and progress in the scientific movement at the university through the exchange of professors, the development of joint studies and plans, scientific meetings, and lectures and scientific discussions.
The memorandum of cooperation also included progress in developing curricula in the corresponding departments, making use of scientific laboratories, as well as employing research in community service, holding seminars, courses, joint scientific programs, and student activities.
The two parties affirmed the strengthening of cooperation in the field of authoring and publishing joint scientific research in sober journals within the global scientific community, in a way that contributes to achieving academic goals.
