The Iraqi Council for Medical Specialization accredits the University of Karbala and Al-Hassan Medical City as a training center for the Iraqi board

The Iraqi Council for Medical Specializations has approved the College of Medicine at Karbala University and Imam Hussein (PBUH) Medical City as a training center for Iraqi board students in urology for the next year 2024. Dr. Ali Al-Ghara, Head of the Surgery Branch, said: “The Iraqi Council for Medical Specialization approved the opening of the center after the supervision and strenuous efforts of professors of urology at the College of Medicine and a group of medical consultants in Imam Hussein (PBUH) Medical City.”And Al-Ghara explained: “The center will start its work and receive trainee students starting from the new academic year 2024, adding that this achievement is one of the fruits of the close cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine at Karbala University and the Holy Karbala Health Department, which aims to continuously strive to provide the best medical services.” And the health of the Karbalai citizen.
