The Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium entitled: (Empowering Women Economically, Socially, and Religiously), with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists.The symposium aims to demonstrate the importance of women in society and the mechanism of empowering them in decision-making, whether in the economic, social or religious field.The symposium touched on the importance of empowering women socially, as an important pillar in the upbringing and building of society, whether in family education or in the educational process, and working to improve and enhance women’s participation in economic activity, and contribute to achieving economic growth and stability in societies.The symposium showed the importance of empowering women in building a Muslim society, as they are an influential element in the goodness of society through their adherence to their headscarves, their chastity, and their commitment to the Sharia rule, as they are able to create the atmosphere of a good society.The symposium recommended the importance of improving women’s participation in the labor market, by increasing training opportunities for women, providing them with lending facilities, encouraging traditional industries as successful job opportunities for women, while providing them with encouraging incentives and supporting them marketingly, financially and skillfully, and setting appropriate legislation that allows women to participate in building construction. the society
