The technical and engineering staffs at the University of Karbala have begun wrapping the first phase of the irrigation channel dedicated to transporting water for irrigation of crops inside the university campus. The President of the University, Prof. Bassem Al-Saidi, said that this vital project is one of the important and strategic projects, and that the university pays great attention in the current period, and its provision of a large amount of wasted water that is not utilized, also works to improve the reality of the university environment. He added that the project goes through multiple stages of work, after completing the packaging process, the shoulders will be poured, gardens will be established along the canal path, and benches will be placed for students to sit, indicating that the university is implementing a package of projects according to the requirements of the educational process and in line with the development and expansion of study and scientific plans.
