- On Monday, the University of Karbala celebrated the graduation of students from the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Basem Khalil Al-Saidi, the administrative and scientific assistants, Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul-Hussein Najm, college professors and students’ families. The ceremony began with reading a verse from the Holy Quran, and reading Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by the Iraqi national anthem and a speech by the President of the University of Karbala, in which he congratulated the students, wishing them a prosperous future in their practical life in service of their country, Iraq.
