Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Najm, assistant rector for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Hawra Hassan, director of the Computing Center at the University, participated in the workshop held at the Yarmouk International Hotel in Baghdad governorate in honor of the British Council for the purpose of explaining the mechanisms of contracts that the Ministry of higher education and scientific research intends to hold by the host universities in the said council for the purpose of opening English language examination centers for the University of Cambridge, the IELTS program . The Ministry of Higher Education has decided to obtain postgraduate students applying for studies at Iraqi universities on the condition of obtaining an IELTS degree (4). the ministry has nominated Karbala University from among the qualified centers to perform this exam after the conclusion of the said contract with the British Council.
