The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis in the English Department, which dealt with the sociolinguistic aspects of communication among children on the autism spectrum at the Al-Sabtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders. The study presented by researcher Sahar Hamoudi Kazem examined the social-linguistic dimensions of communication among children with autism enrolled in the Al-Sabtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders. The importance of the study from an academic standpoint is that it provides a comprehensive overview of the sociolinguistic aspects of communication among children with autism.
