The University of Karbala held a Quranic forum for the students of the boarding departments, with the participation of students living in the boarding departments and from various colleges.
The director of the internal departments at the University of Karbala, Dr. Haider Gharib, said that the forum began with a good recitation of the Holy Quran, stressing the importance of the Holy Qur’an, its sciences, the virtue of reciting it, listening to it, and working with its gift, explaining that such forums would advance society by adhering to the Holy Qur’an.
Gharib added that the aim of the forum is to inculcate the Qur’anic culture among the students and urge them to stick to the Qur’an and seize the holy month in matters of worship as well as scientific matters in the study.
