The College of Engineering at the University of Karbala organized a specialized symposium titled (The basics of making architectural models and their role in showing design ideas) in which the lecturer Saad Mohsen Hammoud from Al-Nahrain University and the teacher Dr. Haider Naji Attia from the University of Karbala lectured, with the participation of students of the first stage of the Department of Architecture. The symposium aims to enable the student to translate his architectural ideas into realistic models and to use the different configurations and the mechanisms of their operation.The symposium included two axes, the first a theoretical material on making models, and the second the practical aspect to address the problems facing students in the completion of their architectural projects. This comes within the plan of the College of Engineering to strengthen the mechanism of cooperation between the colleges and confirms what was stated in the memorandums of academic and research cooperation between Iraqi universities within the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to improve the educational process.
