The engineering cadres at the University of Karbala have begun the work of casting the athletics track in the football stadium in the college under the direct supervision and follow-up by the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi. The official of the Diwan Division, Eng. Haider Al-Tayyar, said in a statement to the Media and Public Relations Division: “The casting work was started on Friday after conducting laboratory tests by the advisory office at the university presidency by Eng. The next step is to spread the tartan layer for the stadiums according to the specifications of the stadiums, in addition to preparing the ground by putting the final touches to plan the track after the completion of the work.
