Associate Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Imran, the esteemed Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, attended a ceremony honoring researchers and innovators who won the “Iraqi Science Day” awards. The event was held in conjunction with University Week and was attended by the University President, members of the University Council, as well as faculty members, staff, and students.
The University President, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, stated that this recognition represents an important initiative toward enhancing the educational process, motivating researchers to improve research quality, and promoting excellence in scientific and research performance. He emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting innovative ideas, fostering success, and improving institutional performance indicators to advance the university as a leading academic institution that serves society and meets labor market demands.
Dr. Fadel Al-Mousawi, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, explained that the recognition includes outstanding researchers with high H-index ratings in Scopus, acknowledging their role in enriching scientific research and enhancing the university’s academic reputation.
