The Iraqi-Iranian science week

With the Participation of Over 100 Iraqi and Iranian Universities: The Launch of the Second Edition of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week

The second edition of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week has commenced, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and hosted by the University of Karbala. The opening ceremony was attended by the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, his Iranian counterpart Hossein Simayi, senior officials from both ministries, the Governor of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Al-Khattabi, and the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider Mohammed Imran.

The event, held at Al-Zahraa University (Peace Be Upon Her), featured several activities on its first day in Karbala. Notably, a joint executive program was signed between the Iraqi and Iranian Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The program includes several key aspects, such as provisions for scholarships at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, organizing training workshops for faculty and students, fostering collaboration in joint scientific supervision, and facilitating the exchange of university professors.
